it breaks the latest deep breath

into a series of small ones

it twists the protocols

shuffles the scripts

tickles the toes to dance

the logical levels dimmed

every sensible motion perturbed

intricate cognitive processes

turned upside-down

the disturbing is disturbed

short circuits spark across

neural pathways well-trodden

blank blink whoosh wham bam

belly aches of laughter

effort is forgotten

the options now seem endless

the choices all equally right
